How to Plan for a Facial
✔ Schedule Smart:
Avoid booking a facial right before a big event (wedding, photoshoot, etc.). Aim for at least 3–5 days beforehand to allow your skin to settle
If it's your first facial, start with a consultation to get the best assesment for your skins needs
✔ Avoid These Before Your Appointment:
Waxing, threading, or shaving your face at least 24–48 hours prior
Retinol, exfoliants, and strong acne treatments for 2–3 days before your facial
Tanning or sun exposure should be avoided to prevent irritation
✔ Come with a Clean Face (If Possible):
If not, no worries—your esthetician will cleanse your skin. But skipping makeup helps save time and lets them better evaluate your skin’s natural state
During Your Facial
✔ Be Honest About Your Skin:
Share any skin concerns, allergies, medications, or recent treatments (like Botox or fillers)
✔ Relax and Communicate:
This is your time to unwind. If anything feels uncomfortable please let your esthetician know. They can adjust pressure, steam, or products for your comfort
After Your Facial
✔ Expect Slight Redness:
Your skin may be pink or sensitive for a few hours, especially if extractions were done
✔ Post-Facial Tips:
Avoid makeup, heavy workouts, sun exposure, and exfoliating for 24 hours
Follow any personalized advice your esthetician gives you
Consistency + Customization = Results
For the best long-term results, we recommend scheduling facials every 4–6 weeks. In addition, we often suggest combination therapies to tailor treatments specifically to your skin’s unique needs. Your esthetician will guide you in creating a customized plan that evolves with your skin.
